Your audience learns by doing, not by watching. Chalkwork Labs turns your material into a highly engaging, interactive course. We host it, sell it and (optionally) run an AI tutor on top of it. You keep 85% of the revenue.
No upfront fees. We take 15% of each sale and nothing else.
This is a real example lesson. Try it yourself
Move the figure. A chart from your syllabus, its inputs on a slider. Drag and the answer changes.
Work a case. A situation in steps. The learner chooses which path they want to explore.
Answer a quick check. One question, one right answer. Each option says why it is right or wrong.
Every lesson and figure, from your slides, notes and worked examples. Nothing is published until you approve it.
No website? We give you a Chalkwork Labs address. Own a domain? Use it. Each course uses your logo and colours, not ours.
You choose a one-time price or a monthly subscription. Learners pay us and we pay you. We handle receipts, VAT and refunds.
An LLM answers learners day or night, from your pages only. You set its tone and see each reply. Don't want it? Switch it off.
Sign-up, sign-in and lost passwords - we handle all the admin. Your learner list, names and emails are yours to export.
The "where is my receipt" and "I can't sign in" emails come to us, not you. Refund requests come to us too.
Where learners got stuck, and what they asked the AI tutor, grouped into edits you approve once for everyone.
When the syllabus changes, we work with you to re-draft the lessons that changed. For as long as the course sells.
Tell us what you teach, what material you use, and who you teach now. We reply within a week.
We create the content and you review and refine each part. Nothing is published until you approve it.
On your own domain, with your branding, at a price you decide, with an LLM tutor to answer questions.
Where a lesson confuses learners, we draft an improvement for you to approve.
Sell 25 places a month at £60 and keep £1,275.
85% of every sale is yours, paid monthly. Our 15% covers the build, hosting, card fees, payments, support and the AI tutor. Nothing is ever billed to you.
Every number, on one pageProfessional exams with a sitting date, in finance, accountancy, law, aviation, medicine, or similar fields.
A mailing list, a channel or a class you teach now. People who trust how you teach and would pay to learn more from you.
Your slides, notes, videos, and worked examples. We extend them, fill the gaps and structure them into lessons.
We earn only when your course sells. So we build only courses we think will, and we keep improving them after launch.
Your material, your audience, and time to read and correct our drafts. The time investment depends on the course. A simple course takes a few hours in total. A complex one is an ongoing collaboration.
It's bundled with the course. It answers learners' questions about the material, from your pages only, and cites the passage it used. You set its tone of voice and see every exchange on your dashboard. It runs on Anthropic's Claude models, so it improves as they do. Learners' questions are not used to train them. 3% of each sale pays for that learner's questions, out of our 15%. On an £80 course, that's about 240 questions each. You're never billed for any of the AI tutor's answers.
It answers only from your pages and shows the passage it used. It's built to say so when your pages don't cover a question. Learners can flag any unhelpful answer. Flags come to you with the source, so you fix the lesson once for everyone. Every exchange is on your dashboard, so you can adjust its tone, its guidance or the lesson itself. You can also opt to turn the tutor off entirely - it's your call.
You do. The lessons, figures and checks we draft from your material are yours once you approve them. Take the course down at any time and take all of it with you, as lessons that run on your own site and as PDFs. Your material never trains a model.
For as long as the course is on sale with us. It pays for the course development, hosting, the AI tutor, learner support and a re-draft when the syllabus changes. Take it down and the share stops.
Yes. The 15% applies to sales of the Chalkwork Labs course only.
Yes, with a code you control. Discount codes too: a percentage or an amount off, with an expiry and a use limit, for a launch, a group or a cohort.
Your choice, per course: permanent, a monthly subscription, or timed, for example until the sitting date.
Yes. Your dashboard shows every learner, every tutor exchange and every score. The list itself, names and emails, is yours to export at any time.
You don't need one. We host the course at a Chalkwork Labs address, with your logo and colours. If you own a domain, the course can live there instead.
Yes. Price in your own currency. Learners pay in the currency you set, and we pay you monthly to a bank account in your country, in that currency. We're the seller of record, so VAT and sales tax on the learner's purchase are ours to handle, not yours.
Chalkwork Labs started with one of us trying to learn something hard from videos and drifting off every time. Then we built one page with interactive elements, and quizzes that checked knowledge as it went. The idea clicked in an afternoon.
That page is still the model. A Chalkwork Labs course is something you work through, not something you watch: figures you move, cases you decide and checks that explain the answer. We use AI sparingly, and only where it helps someone learn.
You already know your subject and have people who listen to you. Turning that into lessons with interactive and rich components, then hosting, selling and supporting them, is the part nobody has an evening for. So that's the part we do. You send what you teach from. We draft, you correct, and nothing goes out without your name on it. If it sells, we both earn. If it doesn't, you've lost some evenings and we've lost some weeks.
